About The Position

The Internet Sales Representative joins a fast-paced automotive retail sales team and serves as a link between customers and their future vehicles. The role assists customers with questions about the company, vehicles, and their ability to purchase, while providing initial product information and directing customers to appropriate dealership resources. Representatives learn about current vehicles and automotive technologies. An in-house Training team provides online and in-store training programs with manufacturers. Compensation is listed as $35,000–$50,000, including bonuses and commissions based on personal performance.

Requirements

• At least one previous role based in strong customer service experience.
• Team-player attitude.
• Prompt and courteous demeanor.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• Strong computer skills.
• Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and establish follow-up for sales appointments.
• Respond promptly to internet, phone, and live chat inquiries using email, phone, and live chat scripts and templates.
• Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to appropriate dealership resources.
• Present initial financing options based on customer needs.
• Follow up with leads who are not ready to make an appointment or who do not show up.
• Participate in team and process development sessions while maintaining positive relationships with teammates, sales teams, and dealership management.
• Use the CRM tracking system daily.
