About The Position

The Internet Sales Representative handles incoming sales inquiries and assigned leads for Honolulu Volkswagen. The role focuses on responding quickly to calls, chats, and emails; converting sales opportunities into confirmed appointments or transferring them to a Sales Consultant; and recording customer interactions and completing scheduled follow-up tasks. This is a performance-driven position with commission and incentive opportunities. The stated average pay range is $5,000–$12,000 monthly, with final compensation dependent on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, physical location, and the interview process.

Requirements

At least one year of automotive experience.
At least two years of sales experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Basic computer skills.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and chat/call requests within 10 seconds.
Respond to incoming email with an attempted phone call within five minutes, followed by outgoing emails ending in a price quote within 10 minutes of the Internet Sales Coordinator's auto-response.
Convert every sales opportunity to a confirmed appointment or transfer it to a Sales Consultant.
Speak with at least 75% of assigned leads.
Set confirmed appointments with at least 60% of leads contacted.
Maintain a 60% show rate for appointments.
Record every customer contact, regardless of source or type, in the LSMS.
Complete 100% of daily scheduled contact tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
