About The Position

The Internet Sales Consultant is the digital engine of Gresham Toyota’s sales floor. The role combines automotive product knowledge, CRM expertise, and a hospitality-focused approach to turn online inquiries into appointments and completed sales. Consultants communicate with prospective customers through email, phone, and online chat, guiding them through a modern buying experience while keeping customer records and sales activities up to date. The position also involves creating social media posts, reels, and stories.

Requirements

Demonstrate kindness, optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
Have proven experience in e-commerce or online sales.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Be proficient with CRM software and other sales tools.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Have excellent customer service skills.
Have knowledge of the automotive industry and sales processes.
Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Screen incoming leads to assess their interest and potential fit with the dealership’s inventory.
Engage with leads through email, phone, and online chat to provide information, answer questions, and build rapport.
Guide leads through the sales process, from initial contact through closing.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the dealership’s CRM system.
Stay current on dealership inventory and communicate vehicle features and benefits effectively.
Create social media posts, reels, and stories.
Perform other duties as assigned.
