About The Position

The Auto Club is seeking a goal-oriented customer service professional to provide insurance service and clerical support to its Web Insurance Agents and Members. The specialist helps members by answering questions, taking payments, providing counsel, and making changes to existing Property & Casualty insurance policies.

The position includes comprehensive, employee-centered training to help employees develop the skills needed for the role and support career development. The role also requires the ability to qualify for and maintain Property & Casualty/Personal Lines and Life insurance licenses.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of customer service or sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Superior organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining superior customer relationships.
• Well organized, self-motivated, team oriented, adaptable, detail oriented, and motivated to succeed.
• Ability to qualify for and maintain Property & Casualty/Personal Lines and Life insurance licenses.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a sales environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service insurance policies.
• Verify new business applications.
• Process insurance and membership payments.
• Update electronic member information.
• Maintain filing systems and perform typing.
• Answer members’ questions, take payments, provide counsel, and make changes to existing Property & Casualty insurance policies.
• Provide insurance service and clerical support to Web Insurance Agents and Members.
