About The Position

The Internet Insurance Service Specialist provides insurance service and clerical support to the Auto Club’s Web Insurance Agents and members. The role helps members by answering questions, taking payments, providing counseling, and making changes to existing Property & Casualty insurance policies. Employees receive training through the organization’s training facilities and programs, which are intended to develop the skills needed for the job and support career development.

Requirements

1–3 years of customer service or sales experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Superior organizational skills and commitment to maintaining superior customer relationships.
Well organized, self-motivated, desire to succeed, team oriented, adaptable, and detail oriented.
Ability to qualify for and maintain Property & Casualty/Personal Lines and Life insurance licenses.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a sales environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and service insurance policies.
Verify new business applications.
Process insurance and membership payments.
Update electronic member information.
Maintain filing systems and perform typing.
Answer members’ questions, take payments, provide counseling, and make changes to existing Property & Casualty insurance policies.
