About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician to repair automotive interiors at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role requires professional automotive interior repair skills, including work on upholstery, consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic, and stitching, as well as color matching and dyeing cloth and fabric. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to help their skills and pay progress. The position includes a $4,000 hiring bonus, competitive wages, and company benefits. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair experience for the mid-level role.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Pass a complete background check.
Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

Repair damaged cloth, fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery.
Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic, and stitching.
Color match and dye cloth and fabric.
Work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and contribute to delivering vehicles as expected.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
