About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to perform professional automotive bodywork in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role involves repairs across multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The posting describes a competitive wage and a $4,000 bonus. The listed pay range is $26–$32 per hour. The schedule is 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with possible overtime. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The position requires at least three years of professional automotive bodywork experience. Candidates must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
