About The Position

Carvana is hiring a mid-level Auto Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician to repair vehicle interiors and glass at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role requires professional experience in automotive interior repair and/or glass repair. Technicians repair upholstery and interior components, color-match and dye cloth and fabric, and repair various types of window and windshield damage. Carvana provides training programs for employees joining in entry-level positions, with opportunities for skills and pay to progress. The position may require mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and independently lift up to 60 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Repair damaged cloth, fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery.
Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic components, and stitching.
Color-match and dye cloth and fabric.
Repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields.
Work in a production environment to help prepare vehicles for customers.
