About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician to work in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role requires professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience and involves restoring vehicle upholstery and interior components, color matching and dyeing fabric, and repairing damage to windows and windshields. Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Ability to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Repair damaged cloth/fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery.
Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic, and stitching.
Color match and dye cloth and fabric.
Repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
