About The Position

Carvana is hiring a mid-level Auto Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician to work in one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The technician is expected to be highly skilled in automotive interior and glass repair, restoring upholstery and interior components and repairing damage to windows and windshields. Carvana offers a competitive wage, a $2,000 bonus, and training programs for employees joining in entry-level positions so their skills and pay can progress with the company. The role is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning operation, where vehicles are inspected and perfected before being photographed and listed on the Carvana website. Work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to excessive heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Employment is contingent on passing a complete background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must not require visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Repair damaged cloth or fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery.
Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic components, and stitching.
Color-match and dye cloth and fabric.
Repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
