About The Position

Carvana is hiring a mid-level Auto Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician to prepare vehicles for customers at a high-tech Inspection Center. The technician repairs automotive upholstery and interior components, performs color matching and dyeing, and repairs damage to vehicle windows and windshields. The role requires at least three years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience. Entry-level employees may have access to training programs that support skill and pay progression. The position is on second shift. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use of required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Repair damaged cloth, fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery.
Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic components, and stitching.
Color-match and dye cloth and fabric.
Repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields.
