About The Position

Carvana is hiring a mid-level Auto Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician for its Pineville, North Carolina Inspection Center. The technician repairs automotive interiors and glass, including upholstery, vehicle interior components, and windows and windshields. The position uses state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech vehicle reconditioning environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime possible and mandatory overtime required when business needs call for it.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged cloth, fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery.
• Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic components, and stitching.
• Color-match and dye cloth and fabric.
• Repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields.
• Use tools and equipment to prepare vehicles for customers in a fast-paced production environment.
