About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter for its new location in Pineville, North Carolina. The painter matches and mixes paint colors and uses water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths at a vehicle reconditioning center. The role is part of a fast-paced, changing production environment and supports preparing vehicles for customers. Applicants need at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. The position is scheduled for first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and may require mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
