About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter to work in a high-tech vehicle reconditioning center. The painter matches and mixes paint colors and applies water-based paint to vehicles inside paint booths. Carvana describes itself as a fast-growing used automotive retailer and operates vehicle Reconditioning Centers where cars are inspected, repaired, and photographed before being listed for sale. Candidates must have at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. The role involves working in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and hiring is contingent on passing a background check.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
