About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Painter to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves matching and mixing paint colors and applying water-based paint to vehicles inside paint booths. The position requires at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. Carvana describes its work as preparing, inspecting, perfecting, and photographing vehicles before they are listed for customers. The role may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use of safety equipment that may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must pass a complete background check.
