About The Position

Carvana is seeking Mid-Level Auto Painters with at least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience. The role involves matching and mixing paint colors and using water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths at a Carvana high-tech Inspection Center. Employees use state-of-the-art tools and may be required to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Passing a complete background check.
