About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Painter to prepare and paint vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role includes priming vehicles and performing final sanding before painting, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company. Candidates must have at least one year of professional automotive painting experience and meet the general qualifications listed in the posting.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting.

• Work in a fast-paced, changing production environment.
• Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
