About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The posting seeks technicians with at least three years of professional automotive bodywork experience. The role is in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to excessive heat or cold. Technicians use appropriate safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Employment is contingent on passing a complete background check. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment.
Passing a complete background check.
