About The Position

Sparkfund is hiring an Integrated Marketing Manager to help establish distributed capacity as a new category for how utilities grow the grid. Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Communications and working closely with the Director of Creative & Marketing Strategy, this role builds and runs Sparkfund’s content and events programs and coordinates marketing across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels. The manager partners with technical experts and business leaders to share their expertise through industry events, webinars, panels, white papers, blogs, and other content that educates the market about distributed capacity and Sparkfund’s Distributed Capacity Procurement (DCP) model. The role develops thought leadership and marketing materials, manages Sparkfund’s industry event presence, and supports program marketing and customer and partner engagement. It coordinates content production and marketing across internal teams, freelance vendors, and external partners, maintaining consistent messaging and brand alignment. The role also tracks content and event performance and helps establish scalable, repeatable processes as activities transition in-house. This is a full-time, exempt position that is fully remote within the United States, with approximately 10–20% travel to utility partner locations, company gatherings, conferences, and industry events. The role requires working in a standard remote office environment and periodically supporting in-person events, which may involve extended periods of standing and light lifting of event materials.
