INTAKE COORDINATOR - FULL TIME
About The Position
The Intake Coordinator responds to all persons requesting assistance either by telephone or in person, and provides admissions screening, crisis intervention and referrals to Hospital staff and services to outside sources, based on the nature of the problem(s). Admissions to the Hospital are facilitated through coordinated efforts with the Business Office, Utilization Review and the Department of Nursing Services. Del Amo Behavioral Health Systems is a 166-Bed behavioral and mental health hospital that provides comprehensive treatment for children, adolescents, adults, seniors and the military. Our multidisciplinary team provides customized treatment programs and mental health evaluations for individualized Care.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent required
- Completion of program or minimum of two (2) year's experience as/or EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, Healthcare Intake/Admissions or related preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical department of psychiatric hospital and previous clinical experience with Psychiatric patients of all ages is preferred.
