Requirements

Minimum education is a bachelor’s degree
Must possess strong organization and PC skills (including word and excel) with proficiency in typing/data entry.
Must demonstrate verbal and written communication proficiency

Nice To Haves

Experience of 1+ year in behavioral health preferred

Responsibilities

Support all aspects of Residential intake and admission processes and procedures.
Maintaining daily census records.
Entering all residential intake and admission data into a hospital computer database.
Processing PRTF referrals.
Completing thorough intake assessments.
Verifying insurance benefits.
Completing insurance prior-authorization requests.
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources.
Completing follow-up tasks pending resolution.
Ensuring treatment and clinical service recommendations are based upon patient needs.
Maintaining positive relationships with staff from other departments to foster a team environment.
