Requirements

  • Minimum education is a bachelor’s degree
  • Must possess strong organization and PC skills (including word and excel) with proficiency in typing/data entry.
  • Must demonstrate verbal and written communication proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience of 1+ year in behavioral health preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of Residential intake and admission processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining daily census records.
  • Entering all residential intake and admission data into a hospital computer database.
  • Processing PRTF referrals.
  • Completing thorough intake assessments.
  • Verifying insurance benefits.
  • Completing insurance prior-authorization requests.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources.
  • Completing follow-up tasks pending resolution.
  • Ensuring treatment and clinical service recommendations are based upon patient needs.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with staff from other departments to foster a team environment.
