About The Position

Willamette Family is seeking a dishwasher to join its food service team. The kitchens serve three meals a day, 365 days a year, to clients receiving substance abuse treatment services in residential programs. This role supports kitchen operations by maintaining the dish station, assisting with basic kitchen-line tasks and organization, following health and sanitation guidelines, and maintaining and correctly using kitchen equipment and cleaning methods. The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt, with a schedule of Friday through Monday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Compensation is $17.85 per hour.

Willamette Family is a nonprofit organization that has provided substance use disorder and mental health treatment services to individuals and families in Lane County since 1964. It welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of professional and lived experience.

Requirements

• Former clients must wait six months before applying for this position.
• Complete and pass a pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis/THC screening.
• Obtain required background check clearance through the Oregon Department of Human Services/Oregon Health Authority Background Check Unit using ORCHARDS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the dish station.
• Provide basic kitchen-line support and assist with kitchen organization.

• Properly maintain equipment and correctly use cleaning methods for kitchen equipment.
