About The Position

The Insurance Sales Representative is primarily responsible for selling nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers. The role involves generating new business, maintaining current business, building customer relationships, and helping customers choose products that fit their needs. This is an onsite position. The pay range starts at $13 per hour, with a competitive base salary, uncapped monthly commissions, renewal commissions, and monthly bonus incentives.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Sales or customer service experience.
Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
Excellent follow-up and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ambition and motivation to pursue career advancement.

Nice To Haves

Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license; preferred but not required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Solicit new business and maintain current business levels to achieve or exceed sales production goals.
Build relationships with existing customers to expand business and meet production goals.
Accurately account for currency transactions and deliver deposits to the bank in a timely manner, with scanned documentation entered into the agency management system.
Build client relationships quickly and educate and advise customers on products that best fit their needs.
