About The Position

The Insurance Sales Representative sells nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers. The role focuses on meeting or exceeding sales production goals, building relationships with customers, and educating them about products that fit their needs. It also handles accurate accounting of currency transactions and timely bank deposits with scanned documentation in the agency management system. The position is on site. Compensation starts at $13 per hour and includes a competitive base salary, uncapped monthly commissions, renewal commissions, and monthly bonus incentives.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Sales or customer service experience.
Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
Excellent follow-up and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ambition and motivation to advance professionally.

Nice To Haves

Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license (preferred but not required).
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Sell nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers.
Solicit new business and maintain current business levels to achieve or exceed sales production goals.
Build relationships with existing customers to expand business and meet production goals.
Accurately account for currency transactions and deliver deposits to the bank on time, with scanned documentation in the agency management system.
Build client relationships and educate customers about products that fit their needs.
