Bilingual Insurance Sales Trainee / Sales Representative
About The Position
The Insurance Sales Agent is primarily responsible for selling nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers. The role involves generating new business, maintaining current business, and building relationships with customers to meet or exceed sales production goals. Agents educate and advise customers about products that fit their needs and handle currency transactions, deposits, and related documentation in the agency management system. This is an on-site position. The posting describes the role as a Bilingual Insurance Sales Trainee / Sales Representative and lists pay of $14+ per hour, plus a competitive base salary, uncapped monthly commissions, renewal commissions, and monthly bonus incentives.
Requirements
- Sales or customer service experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
- Excellent follow-up and multitasking skills.
- Ambitious and motivated by opportunities for advancement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Solicit new business and maintain current business levels to achieve or exceed sales production goals.
- Proactively build relationships with existing customers to expand business and meet agreed-upon production goals.
- Accurately account for currency transactions and promptly deliver deposits to the bank, with scanned documentation in the agency management system.
- Build client relationships quickly and educate and advise customers on products that best fit their needs.
