About The Position

Afni is hiring a remote Insurance Representative, described in the posting as an Insurance Specialist. Employees complete paid training to obtain state licensing and become Licensed Insurance Sales Agents. After licensing, they represent a major insurance provider by handling inbound calls from warm leads, identifying customer needs, and selling insurance products and solutions. The role focuses on building relationships, providing an exceptional customer experience, explaining products and services, and resolving insurance and service-related inquiries. Applicants must live in Florida. The position is 100% remote, and Afni provides the equipment needed for the role.

Requirements

At least six months of experience working in a service or sales environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time effectively.
Computer skills, including using multiple screens and applications simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and active-listening skills, ability to build rapport and handle difficult situations professionally, and ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Quick-thinking problem-solving ability, self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and effective time management.
Sales-focused mindset and demonstrated ability to sell and upsell products or services while delivering excellent customer service.
Ability to attend 100% of the paid training period.
Availability for assigned shifts after full-time paid training, including weekends and some holidays, within the 7:30 a.m.–12:30 a.m. Eastern Time scheduling window.
Must live in Florida.
Must pass a background screening, be at least 18 years old, have a GED or high school diploma, and be legally permitted to work in the United States.
For remote work: cable or fiber internet service (not dial-up, DSL, satellite, or cellular), at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, and a ping rate below 100 ms.
Must have a private workspace with a desk and chair where surrounding noise is not heard or present during working hours.
Must be able to be on webcam during working hours.

Responsibilities

Take inbound calls and consult with prospective insureds to identify their needs, guide the conversation, and match them with appropriate products and solutions.
Educate customers about insurance products and services and identify opportunities to sell additional products.
Read required disclosures verbatim and communicate coverages and solutions effectively using provided resources.
Research, analyze, and resolve customer inquiries and problems related to insurance and service.
Customize assistance to each policyholder and engage professionally with people from varied backgrounds.
