About The Position

Afni is hiring a remote Insurance Representative. Career paths start at $17.75 per hour, and the role is eligible for bonuses. Applicants must live in Florida. Paid training prepares Insurance Specialists to obtain state licensing and become Licensed Insurance Sales Agents. Once licensed, representatives take inbound calls from warm leads on behalf of a major insurance provider, identify customer needs, and recommend insurance products and services. The position emphasizes sales, relationship-building, personalized customer service, and clear communication of insurance coverage and disclosures. The role is 100% remote, and Afni supplies the equipment needed for work. Full-time hours are offered. Employees must attend the full paid training period and then work assigned shifts, which may include weekends and some holidays, between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Eastern Time. Remote employees need qualifying cable or fiber internet, a private workspace, and the ability to be on webcam during working hours.

Requirements

At least six months of experience working in a service or sales environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time effectively.
Computer skills, including using multiple screens and applications simultaneously.
Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle difficult situations professionally.
Ability to navigate multiple systems, maintain a positive attitude under pressure, solve problems quickly, and work with self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
A sales-focused mindset and demonstrated ability to sell and upsell products or services while providing excellent customer service.
Ability to attend 100% of the paid training period.
Availability for assigned shifts after training, including weekends and some holidays, between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
Must live in Florida.
Must pass a background screening, be at least 18 years old, have a GED or high school diploma, and be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Cable or fiber internet service; dial-up, DSL, satellite, and cellular internet are not accepted.
Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, with a ping rate under 100 ms.
A private workspace with a desk and chair, free from audible or present surrounding noise during working hours.
Ability to be on webcam during working hours.

Responsibilities

Take inbound calls and consult with prospective insureds to identify their needs.
Guide conversations and match insurance products and solutions to customer needs.
Educate customers about insurance products and services and identify opportunities to sell additional products.
Read all disclosures verbatim and communicate coverage and solutions effectively using provided resources.
Research, analyze, and resolve insurance- and service-related customer inquiries.
Customize assistance for policyholders and provide an exceptional customer experience.
