About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to serve educators with insurance and financial solutions tailored to their needs. The role includes mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, and training. Producers build and manage their own business while leveraging established books of business, a niche educator market, value-added services, community connections, and a multi-line product portfolio. The work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with enhanced commissions, uncapped earning potential, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Top performers may also earn all-expenses-paid trips. A mentor agent provides ongoing guidance and accountability.

Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
