About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and support while building and growing an independent business. The role offers a performance-based compensation structure with commissions, incentives, and bonuses, and access to an established book of business, a niche educator market, value-added services, networking opportunities, and a multi-line product portfolio. The work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. The producer is guided by a mentor agent and is expected to build client relationships and a solid client base while supporting Horace Mann’s mission to help educators protect their current financial well-being and achieve long-term financial security.

Requirements

Commitment to helping educators achieve financial prosperity.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Self-motivation and ability to manage an independent business.
Ability to obtain or currently hold state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
