About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through insurance and financial solutions tailored to their needs. The role offers mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and support in developing a client base and growing an independent business. Producers may work in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with commissions, incentives, bonuses, and a sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Commitment to helping educators achieve financial prosperity.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to manage an independent business.
- Ability to obtain or currently hold state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
Responsibilities
- Present insurance products to prospective clients one-on-one and in group settings.
- Participate in community and networking events to expand professional connections.
- Stay current with industry trends and apply new knowledge to help clients.
- Develop market relationships and build a client base.
