About The Position
Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent and hands-on industry experience, along with training and access to products designed for educators. The role involves developing a client base, building market relationships, educating prospective clients, and investing time and resources in growing an independent business. The position offers performance-based compensation under a 1099 arrangement, including enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. The working environment may include in-person, field, and/or office work. A mentor agent provides guidance and support.
Requirements
- Commitment to helping educators achieve financial prosperity.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to manage an independent business.
- Ability to obtain, or currently hold, state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
