About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, training, and hands-on experience, and builds a client base in a market focused on educators. The role offers a multi-line product portfolio, established books of business to leverage, value-added services, and a streamlined sales process. Work may be in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly incentives based on sales volume, quarterly production bonuses for the first 36 months, and uncapped earning potential. A sign-on bonus and other structured incentives and bonuses are also offered. Top performers may earn all-expenses-paid trips. A mentor agent provides guidance and support.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Self-motivation and ability to manage one's own business.
Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
