About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges with tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent and hands-on industry experience, along with training and support. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, a 36-month incentive plan, enhanced commissions, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Producers can work without an external office, leverage established books of business while building their own practice, and use a multi-line product portfolio and value-added services to connect with clients. The position serves the Hartford and Torrington, Connecticut area and may involve working in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting.
