Insurance Producer - Boone, NC
About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer to serve educators and their families in Boone, NC. The role focuses on helping educators address financial challenges through insurance solutions designed for them. Producers can prospect and work within established books of business while building their own practice, using a multi-line product portfolio, value-added services, and market and relationship-building programs. The position includes training, flexible work arrangements, and performance-based compensation with commissions and incentives. Work takes place in person, in the field, and in an office; no external office is required.
Requirements
- Possess or be able to obtain resident state General Lines licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
- Life & Health Insurance License and Property & Casualty License are preferred or will be required prior to appointment.
Responsibilities
- Help solve the financial challenges educators face.
- Present confidently and enthusiastically to prospective customers, both one-on-one and in large groups.
- Participate in networking, community, sales, and industry events to expand professional connections.
- Engage with the local community and learn about new products and services.
- Stay up to date with industry trends.
- Acquire market entry and cultivate strong connections.
- Invest time and resources to support business success.
- Possess or obtain resident state General Lines licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
