About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through insurance and financial solutions tailored to their needs. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent and hands-on industry experience, along with training and access to a multi-line product portfolio, established books of business, value-added services, and a niche educator market. The role involves building and managing a client base and developing a successful independent business. Work may be in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, a sign-on bonus, and uncapped earnings. A mentor agent provides guidance and accountability. Top performers may qualify for all-expenses-paid trips.

Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own business.
Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
