About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to serve educators and their families with personalized insurance, retirement, and financial solutions. The role offers the opportunity to build a practice by prospecting, working within and cross-selling established books of business, and developing relationships in the community. The position reports to the Regional Field Leader (Agency Consultant). Compensation is a performance-based 1099 package with enhanced commissions and monthly and quarterly production incentives during the first 36 months. There is no external office requirement. Horace Mann provides training, value-added services, market and relationship-building programs, networking opportunities, and a multiline product portfolio.

Requirements

• Comfort presenting information to potential customers one-on-one and in large groups.
• Willingness to invest time and resources to ensure business success.
• Possess or be ready to obtain Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
