Insurance Producer - Smithfield, NC
About The Position
Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through insurance and tailored financial solutions. The role includes mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to products designed for educators. Producers develop their own business and client base while using Horace Mann’s established books of business, value-added services, streamlined sales processes, and multi-line product portfolio. The position offers performance-based compensation as a 1099 producer, including enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly incentives based on sales volume, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. A mentor agent provides ongoing guidance and accountability.
Requirements

- Self-motivation and ability to manage your own business.
- Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
