About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer in Abilene, Texas, to help educators address financial challenges with insurance and financial solutions tailored to their needs. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to established books of business and a multi-line product portfolio. The role offers a performance-based 1099 compensation structure, including enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and opportunities for a sign-on bonus and other incentives. The producer builds a client base by educating prospective clients, developing market relationships, and participating in community and networking events. Work may be conducted in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. A mentor agent provides guidance and support.

Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
