About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through insurance and financial solutions tailored to their needs. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, and training. The role offers a performance-based 1099 compensation structure, including enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and opportunities for a sign-on bonus and other incentives. Producers can leverage established books of business while building their own practice, access a niche market and value-added services, and use a multi-line product portfolio and streamlined sales processes. There is no external office requirement, and work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. A mentor agent provides ongoing guidance and support.

Self-motivation and ability to manage an independent business.
Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
