About The Position
AO Globe Life is hiring for a fully remote, independent contractor opportunity supporting individuals and families with supplemental benefit options. The role is suited to recent or soon-to-be graduates and people who enjoy service-focused work. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided; no prior insurance experience is required. The representative meets with clients virtually over Zoom, discusses their needs, and supports them through the enrollment process. The role also involves building long-term client relationships, maintaining accurate digital records, and following up promptly. Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven, not hourly or salaried. Specific licensing requirements, fees, compensation, and contractor terms may vary by state and will be reviewed during hiring and onboarding. Candidates must obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities and pay any applicable pre-licensing coursework, examination, and state licensing costs. This is a 100% remote position for candidates legally eligible to work in the United States. Candidates provide their own computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace, and must complete training and participate in virtual meetings. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities, if applicable.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.
- Provide a computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional remote workspace.
- Have a reliable internet connection and a Windows laptop/PC with webcam.
- Demonstrate strong communication and people skills.
- Have a self-starter mindset and strong organizational skills.
- Be comfortable in virtual meetings and familiar with digital tools.
- Be self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently.
- Have a service-minded, mission-driven attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service or consultative experience is a plus but is not required.
- Recent or soon-to-be graduates in business, marketing, or communications may be a good fit.
