About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Harlingen, Texas, to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators. The agent will help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security by identifying their needs and presenting relevant products to individuals and groups. Success depends on building market access and relationships, networking in the community and industry, and investing time and resources in the long-term development of the business. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an incentive package during the first 48 months, quarterly production incentives, a dedicated Premier Service Representative for client service work, a niche market, technology and ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong business management skills.
Resident State General Lines Life and Health Insurance License.
Resident State General Lines Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
