About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Laredo, Texas. The agent helps educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security while building and managing an agency. The role involves developing relationships and market access, presenting products to groups and individuals, networking in the community and industry, and investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business. Horace Mann offers a dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work, an exclusive territory, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years. Compensation is performance-based and includes an industry-leading 48-month incentive package and quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
