About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Harlingen, Texas. The agent helps educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security while building and managing an agency. Success involves developing market access and relationships, confidently presenting products to groups and individuals, participating in networking and community events, and investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, dedicated service support, technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
