About The Position
Horace Mann is hiring an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency in an exclusive territory, develop market access and relationships, present products to groups and individuals, and invest time and resources in growing a successful business. Horace Mann offers a multiline product portfolio, technology, training, market and relationship-building programs, and a Dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work. No external office is required for the first two years. Compensation is performance-based and paid on a 1099 basis, with incentives during the first 48 months.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
