About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Macon, Georgia, to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators. The agent identifies and presents insurance and financial solutions to individuals and groups, develops market access and client relationships, and grows a professional network through community and industry engagement. A dedicated Premier Service Representative handles client service work so the agent can focus on building the business. Horace Mann provides training, technology, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based and includes incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
