About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Springfield, Ohio. The agent builds and manages an agency serving educators in a defined territory, helping clients find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The position offers an exclusive market niche, a multiline product portfolio, business-building programs, technology, training, and a dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work so the agent can focus on growing the business. Compensation is competitive and performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with activity- and success-based incentives during the first 48 months, including quarterly production incentives.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
