Insurance Agent - Farmers Insurance
About The Position
The Conner Kline Farmers Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated Insurance Agent who enjoys working with people, is driven by goals, and wants an opportunity to grow. Insurance experience isn't required. If you have a background in sales, customer service, retail, banking, hospitality, healthcare, or another customer-facing role, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed. This position gives you the opportunity to build valuable skills and grow your career, whether your goal is to become a successful insurance producer, move into leadership, or eventually explore agency ownership.
Requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable talking with customers over the phone
- Motivated by goals, performance, and earning potential
- Persistent when faced with rejection or setbacks
- Coachable and open to feedback
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain one
- Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Connect with new and existing customers through leads, referrals, phone calls, and follow-up
- Learn about customers' needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
- Build long-term client relationships and identify additional coverage opportunities
- Manage your sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects
- Work toward individual and agency sales goals
- Participate in ongoing sales coaching and insurance training
