About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Lima, Ohio, to serve educators by helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency, develop relationships and market access, and present insurance and financial products to groups and individuals.

The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, and quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months. A dedicated Service Representative handles client service work so the agent can focus on building the business. Support includes an exclusive territory, technology, ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, market and relationship-building programs, and no requirement for an external office for two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
