About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Butte, Montana, to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators. The agent identifies and implements insurance and financial solutions that support educators’ affordability and financial security, builds market access and relationships, and presents products to groups and individuals. The role includes networking and community engagement and requires investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business. Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months, a dedicated Premier Service Representative for client service work, an exclusive niche market, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
