About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Bozeman, Montana. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves developing market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and participating in networking, community, and industry events. The agent is expected to invest time and resources in the long-term success of the business. Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation with an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, including activity- and success-based earning incentives and quarterly production incentives. Agents receive a dedicated Premier Service Representative to handle client service work, along with a niche market, technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
